| I move to this honorable house the motion to Dramatically reform the State of this nation. I propose we release ourselves from the Germanic unionist left wing policies of the past and embrace a freer union of semi autonomous states that comprise the United States of Dorvik (USD) whereby the central government maintains controls over certain areas whilst local states are empowered to use local knowledge and experience to govern the matters than are unnecessary for the National government to be involved in. This Bill WILL NOT be moved to vote before the election but is laid out for debate and discussion. Additional Articles to the Bill are.... Article 2 The nations name be changed to "The United States of Dorvik" Article 3 Following national elections, the majority party of each state is to appoint a state governor who will lead the legislature of that State for the remainder of the Term. At this point no special measures are attached to the Governorship and the role will initially be as a symbolic head of the state. |

| Message | Germanic unionist left wing policies? It is almost adorable how this is amusing while being offending and blatantly wrong in multiple ways. First, we wonder: Isn't it part of the Alliance's political agenda to strenghen local specialties of the Dorvish culture? Granted, it is not limited to a certain region so the Alliance could use it to tear the nation apart, but the majority of the Dorvish people ARE of germanic ethnicity! The ridiculous ambitions of the Orange Alliance to use this simple fact against the government in their sad excuse of an election campaign is almost as sad as it is worrying! Just as their attempts to accuse the Socialist party and their government to be an extremist dictatorship. Hasn't he Socialist Party risen to fight exactly this? And hasn't it been cooperative in creating a free, more democratic governmental system than Dorvik has seen it for a long time - togeher with the Orange Alliance?! Leaving all the false acussations and the blatant propaganda of the Alliance here aside, as long as we have the power and the public backing to work against this self destructive proposal of seperation and differences, we, the Socialist Party of Dorvik will NEVER vote in favour of this bill! |
