Bill: Corporation Tax Sensibility Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Democratic Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3685

Description[?]:

Believing that taxing for 25%, or a quarter, of a corporation's profits makes much more sense than the somewhat whimsical number of 23. Also believing that corporation tax should be raised regardless of whether 23% tax makes sense or not.

MessageAddressed to the National Front:

As a political organization, the LDU stands with its people more than corporations. We recognize that corporations tend to stand in the way from a truly democratic Commonwealth, and therefore, we dislike ideologies among laissez-faire groups.

We are pro-prosperity. But supporting money-mongering businessmen will not lead the Commonwealth to prosperity, it will lead our country to corruption and eventual oblivion.

You accuse the UPP of not standing up for its people. Not functioning for the citizens; not serving the population. Yet you seem to favor corporations, even with the drastic effects they have over democracy.
