MessageMr. Speaker,

I am a proud mother and I am grateful to be representing the great people of Kurmal in Congress. I know that we all want what is best for our children and families. That is exactly why I am a conservative. I believe that we must protect the unborn, ensure equality for all, and make sure that the balance of federal power is ensured by promoting the rights of states. Ultran Governor Thomas Lambert, a Union Party member, is making Ultran the greatest state to live in because he is promoting conservative values.

But it is more belligerent here in Congress, and I will finally talk about the 'Empowerment Bill'. It is a liberal manifesto under the guise of supposedly "helping women". If you read the bill, you'll see it's more than just barring men from serving in the military. The bill increases the power of the Federal government, it legalizes abortion, and it exposes harmful drugs to people of all ages. The Union Party will not be voting for this bill.

Cathy Adeline (U-Kurmal)
Union Party Leader

MessageMr. Speaker,

This "empowerment" act threatens the Alorian way of life. It will make our nation a weak, laughing stock. I refuse to allow our great nation to relinquish our great liberties. I urge all parties to vote no on this bill.

Message[Press release from Liberal Feminist Party Leader Eleanor Garsdale]

As a party with no seats [yet] we are unable to respond in parliamentary debate to the claims that the empowerment act will weaken our nation. We reject these as unfounded terms and we trust the electorate to decide how they perceive the Empowerment Act come Election day.

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).

Random quote: "The reason there are so few female politicians is that it is too much trouble to put makeup on two faces." - Maureen Murphy
