Date | 07:26:36, July 02, 2014 CET | From | Labor Party | To | Debating the Second Legislature Reform Act |
Message | This is unfair to smaller parties. It raises the thresh hold for a party to gain a seat....stifling minority party opportunities. |
Date | 07:41:37, July 02, 2014 CET | From | Union Party | To | Debating the Second Legislature Reform Act |
Message | Incorrect. The ratio would remain the same. It's like saying there is one party with 100 seats and one party with 10 seats. This bill just reduces the seats in the legislature so the 100-seat party then has 10 seats and the 10-seat party then has 1 seat. |

Message | It's also easier to keep track of percentages and coalitions because it's only twice of 100. Also, every party acts as one. If one party has 20 seats and another party has 21 seats it doesn't matter what happens, because the 21-seat party will always neat the other when voting. |

Message | You are still wrong in regards to the threshold. At 100 seats, each legislator represents 1 million. Versus at the current level, they represent 133k. This move is elitist and further disconnects the electorate from their legislature. |

Message | The LFP having reconsidered the case put forward by the Labor party feel that this reform is not right for the moment. We revoke our initial support for this bill. |
Date | 22:23:52, July 03, 2014 CET | From | United Conservative Party | To | Debating the Second Legislature Reform Act |
Message | LFP and labor you guys make no sense! Just because there are less seats doesn't mean that minority parties will be stifled. It's just proportionately different. |
Date | 22:55:52, July 03, 2014 CET | From | Union Party | To | Debating the Second Legislature Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Bigger government, bigger bureaucracy. Such are the values of those on the left. We kept this bill in debate and were willing to compromise. I cannot understand why Labor and LFP refuse to reach a consensus. This gridlock is harmful to the progress of Aloria. Congressman Yuval Garin (U-Gavonshire) Union Study Committee Chairman |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
