MessageMr. Speaker,

The LFP shows "true greed". What do I mean by that? I mean that they believe in making it harder for average people to profit in certain sectors, such as finance, which doesn't hurt themself or anyone else, but they are perfectly fine with legalizing and allowing people to profit off of prostitution, an immoral and harmful act. If the LFP gets its way, this would inevitably lead to sex slavery, which President Calvin Gillespie noted was one reason that made the Baltusian ruling party evil. This would also lead to increased spreading of STDs, which would increase the chances of a person receiving a STD. This will increase healthcare costs, increase birth defects, increase our nation's relatively low mortality rate, and result in moral decay and social and economic decline.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I honestly don't know what to say. This blasphemous proposal will truely make our nation a disgraced one. I refuse to let our children have to be around that grotesque image. This will bring our nation to international disgrace.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I concur with the honorable UCP congressman. The LFP wants to tarnish our nation's image and corrode our values. Prostitution IS slavery, and I refuse to allow anybody in this nation to be forced by the radical and extremist LFP to resort to selling their bodies and lives for money.

MessageMr. Speaker,

ONce the pompous bluster and ignorance of the Right wing has faded I feel I may now get a chance to state the real purpose of this bill.

The honourable Congress Members who have shared such conservative views must not have the issue that I have in my constituency, that of illegal prostitution. We see this bill as a safeguarding measure for those women who are working in the sex industry. In the last 7 years 3054 cases of rape or abuse are believed to have occurred against female sex workers in my home state of Sildar. Because the law has made prostitution illegal these women will not approach the police for fear of recrimination.

The reality is - for those of us who did not grow up with nanys and swimming pools - that sex workers have always and will always exist. Yet if we are able to give those workers the safety in law that will protect them then we must do it.

The honourable members are right to point out that this is not an economic issue it is a moral one - they simply are looking at morality in the wrong way.

MessageMr. Speaker,

As a woman and a doctor, I know that it's harder for females. This issue is a sensitive one, but the LFP is approaching it the wrong way. They think that if people are doing something that is AGAINST the law, then it should be legalized.

That's not what Congress should be doing. Encouragement of such acts doesn't end the problem, if only kicks the can down the road. Using the logic of the LFP, we should legalize murder because not only is it illegal, but because it will always happen.

Rape is not prostitution. Rape is a crime and a violation of a woman's body. It is disrespectful to thousands of rape victims that the LFP wishes to legalize it. The answer to this problem is to increase police funding and to educate women on how to protect their bodies. Legalizing it would be like putting salt on a wound.

MessageOOC: Out of curiosity, do either of you, LFP or Labor, reside in California, New York, or Massachusetts? I cannot believe how any sensible person could think PROSTITUTION should be a CAREER. I guess you both want little girls to replace the "I want to grow up and be a doctor" statement to "I want to grow up and get money by having sex with hundreds of different potential father's." It's sickening.

MessageOOC: Union, because its game and these are psuedo-positions, in a fictional world, in a GAME. And let alone, the stupid statement of sickening and how repulsive means you are taking this game too seriously. relax.

We support this position for the sheer politics of the game. Aloria is not a conservative country....its very libertarian.

by the way, don;t stereotype states in such a manner. "Oh you support this position I disagree with in reality because you did it in a GAME. Therefore you must be from liberal Fox news state like CA, MA, or NY."

Grow up and stop acting like a tool.

MessageYou can dispute it all you want, but it is true. Besides for Morning Joe, it's just a bunch of far-left commentators who've been having problems ever since they couldn't blame everything on Bush anymore.

Hillary Clinton is out of touch with reality. She said she was dead broke even though at the time she had over $30 million in assets. She's surrounded by scandal everywhere she goes. It's nuts to have another Clinton in the White House!

Let's hope Romney runs again.
