Bill: Preisobergrenzengesetz, 3697
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberale Volkspartei
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3697
Description[?]:
Herr Präsident, even though we are convinced that the private sector is the most effective provider of energy, we must recognize that the current policy invites companies to charge unreasonable prices because they know that the state will continue to pay for them through subsidies, which is in fact market-distorting. We therefore propose scrapping the subsidies to cut excess spending, which will, however, require to impose a price control mechanism because we need to ensure that energy remains affordable to everyone. Jasmin Kopetzky, MdR LBU-Hulstria Fraktionsvorsitzende der LBU |
