Voting deadline: November 3697
Description[?]:
Herr Präsident, in many low-income areas there are no sport clubs because there is no demand for them to offer their services, both because the population is often uninterested and because many people cannot afford to pay for membership. However, in the interest of public health, the government should fill this gap by establishing own sport clubs which, even if they will be less fancy and luxurious than their private counterparts, will incentivize people to take up sporting acitivities, which will assist in fighting widespread health-related problems like obesity, thus saving cost for later treatment in a preventive way, which is in the interest of taxpayers. Dr. Sarah Hofreuther, MdR LBU-Kuratha Gesundheitssprecherin der LBU |
