MessageThe treaty is too vague on the definition of a minority language. If a language is spoken by 3 people out of a population of 3 million, does it qualify?

In its current form, we cannot support this treaty.

MessagePlease, can you use logic sens

All minority languages which are strong enough to form the basis of society for a portion of our citizens will be given legal recognition.

of course 3 person does not qualify, but when our population if 99 000 000 and we can guess 100 000 speak french, french is a minority language. I say we can set the bar to 50 000

MessageIt is not a question of logic but one of the wording of the legislation. Some qualifying percentage for minority language status needs to be included.
