| Article 1 The Prezidenti of the Respublika shall have the following duties > Appointment of government Ministers with the approval of the National Assembly > Dismissal of Ministers from the Cabinet, on the advice of the State Minister.. > Dissolution of the National Assembly with the approval of the Assembly itself. > Issuing of Presidential Decrees (drafted by Ministers) > A limited suspensive veto delaying approval of new laws by up to eight months. > Declaration of a state emergency on the advice of the Interior Minister. > Receiving, expelling and appointment of Ambassadors. > Appointment of judges of the Superior Court on the advice of the Minister of Justice. > Amnesties and pardons to prisoners on the advice of the Minister of Justice > Deployment of the national defence forces abroad with the approval of the National Assembly.
