Message | We need to find alternatives to lumber, importing it into the country is merely shifting the problem to another, less concerned nation and fosters continued demand. We oppose this change. |

Message | The AAS supports our friends in the Progressive Social Strength party. Too much of our Likatonian countryside has ALREADY been ravaged, in the name of 'needed purposes'. The AAS believes it is about time we gave our forests a break, and made the Likatonian government, the Likatonian people, and Likatonian industry ACCOUNTABLE for their use of a finite resource. Should we clear another ten thousand acres of Likatonian forests, JUST so that we can place another strip mall, and another set of clone-like residential areas? Or should we be looking at alternative, more ecologically friendly, ALTERNATIVES to destroying the habitat. |

Message | We support this as a step in the right direction. We may, in the future, propose even more sweeping legislation along these lines depending on the success or failure of this bill. |
