Bill: Cutting the Poverty Tax
Details
Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3718
Description[?]:
By the time this bill goes to a vote the Poverty Tax will have been raised to 2%. For a poverty stricken family having to decide between food or nappies for their new born baby, the Poverty Tax makes life unbearable. We recognise that there isn't support amongst the liberal metropolitan elite parties that dominate the assembly to pass its elimination. We will instead propose cutting it to its lowest level. |

Message | Yes, of course, the "poverty stricken family' have to pay 1 extra BEL for each 100 BEL spent (no 2 because most of the prices did not rise (e.g. buns and rolls are still for 0,12 BEL and NOT 0,122 BEL). They spend about 400 BEL per mounth (otherwise would be not poor !), so they spend about 4 extra BEL ! Then why not rise the subsidities for those with low income by 4 BEL per mounth ?!? Is not cheaper than solve the tax for other 90 % of the people that are not pure and really do not need that ? Including the most rich such as Bill Gates and others - that the Freedom Party do not know (of course) ... (Well the other topic is, that with the socialistic economy program supported by (not only) the Freedom Party, the number of poverty can only rise.) |

Message | We'd like to call into question the Grand Consul's ability to string a sentence together. We are not entirely sure what they are grammatically trying to convey. Beluzia can do better than this. And again, who is Bill Gates? Beluzia had never heard of him. And neither has any other nation in this world. |
