Message | Madam Speaker -- We see no reason why the state should not have the right -- no, the duty -- to carry out capital punishment for the most serious of crimes perpetrated by ingrates in our society. We also believe that here is no more efficient, cost-effective deterrent to heinous crime than a swift public execution, but we pause to include that possibility in this act -- perhaps, if there is other interest, we will propose it in the future. For now, we urge Rutania to enact capital punishment to show would-be murderers, traitors, terrorists and rapists that they will be given swift, strict justice in our great land. Sincerely, The Steel and the Gray |

Message | Madam Speaker We do believe that there is a place for execution, but it should be relegated to First degree rape, first degree murder, premeditated attempted murder, and terrorism. In case of corruption in the government, I left out Treason on purpose. Also, the prosecutors shouldn't need to pursue the death penalty, as it can be used as a bartering tool instead. |

Message | Members of Parliament -- I am confident in the Minister of Justice that if we pass this bill, then it will be applied most judiciously and only to the most serious of offenders. Katherine Freunlich, PM |
