Message | Mr. Speaker -- We believe that age alone should not qualify a person as an adult. Given especially the rash of libertarian madness that seems to have gripped our youth, we feel that a test should be administered to Rutanians to establish whether or not they should be treated as adults according to the law. Sincerely, The Steel and the Gray |

Message | Mr. Speaker Your comment is extremely bias and offensive to all who want freedom and fairness. This test could easily be manipulated into an eternal, crushing power grab instead of a true maturity test. |

Message | Mr. Speaker -- We do not oppose freedom, at least not freedom that doesn't infringe upon the good of the state, and we certainly do not oppose fairness. Such a test may determine that a 14 year old is truly an adult, whereas a 44 year old is not. We suppose that should someone wish to create the test in such a way as to skew the population of adults to support a particular political position, it can be done, but this is not our intention. Besides, we certainly do not intend to be the creators of such a test, but would leave the matter with the proper ministry to do so. Sincerely, The Steel and the Gray |

Message | Mr Speaker No matter what happens, if there is a test it will cost us. Our time and resources and ideological diversity. Maturity is different in different ideologies, religions, and upbringings. The test will deprive adulthood from some mature in their own rite, and it will socially divide us as well, how could that 14 year old operate in school or with his friends when separated socially from them? |

Message | Mr Speaker -- We firmly believe that age is an arbitrary and subjective measure of adulthood and maturity. Surely, there are young people who are far more mature than older one, and vice versa. We believe that this bill should benefit all of Rutania because it will ensure that only mature people have the responsibilities of adulthood, and we urge the parliament to pass it. -- TSTG |
