Bill: Utilising the Remaining Budget Surplus

Details

Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3725

Description[?]:

Under countless Liberal-led governments, Beluzia enjoyed a budget surplus. However, for most of these years it was squandered, continual cuts to public expenditure and only a handful of meaningful tax cuts (not including brown-nosing tax cuts to the rich). This government is different!

We would like to hear the opinion of our coalition partner by April.

Random quote: "Up against the corporate government, voters find themselves asked to choose between look-alike candidates from two parties vying to see who takes the marching orders from their campaign paymasters and their future employers. The money of vested interest nullifies genuine voter choice and trust." - Ralph Nader
