Message | Mr. Speaker, We concur with the Liberals on this measure. One question to be raised is if the government funds a fully public, comprehensive school system, what approach will be taken regarding sexual education in said public schools. But regardless, we will vote in support. XXX Alex Turner RR Spokesman on Education and Culture |
Date | 23:36:49, September 08, 2014 CET | From | Conservative Monarchist Alliance | To | Debating the Educational Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, We oppose Article 1, since we believe it is best for the education system to remain in independent hands. Parents should have a choice other which education provider to use for their children, rather than being compelled by circumstances to accept whatever the state decides to offer them. However, we would be happy to support the other Articles. Sergio Arechavaleta Social Affairs spokesman |

Message | Mr. Speaker. The amount of opposition to this bill based on party lines and ideology is worrying to us. Note the none thinking of the future of our children. We are willing to reform the bill a little bit. We believe a public and private school system must be put into place. How will we monitor the quality of education when the education ministry doesn't directly control resources for these schools. . . Sarah Dumples Minister of Education/Culture |
Date | 19:50:42, September 09, 2014 CET | From | Grand Nationalist Fraction | To | Debating the Educational Reform Act |
Message | Mr.Speaker, in response to the Minister of Education: with all schools private but subsidized we create a market in which each school has to deliver quality. We believe this is good for the children. If we choose for a system of bot private and public scholls, we enlarge the gap between children that get all the chances in the world because their parents have money to send them to a private school. That will be capitalism times capitalism. Andrew Desmedt Lodamese schoolteacher |
Date | 22:30:20, September 09, 2014 CET | From | Great National Republican Guard | To | Debating the Educational Reform Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, This isn't about party ideology. We haven't been convinced that supporting this bill will do good for Lodamun. The current education system, as Andrew Desmedt says, allows private schools to be set up, but the government pays partially for education instead of leaving the entire expense to the citizens. This way, everyone can afford education, and the schools with the most demanded spaces get rewarded the most. -- Kevin Landau, GNRG Spokesman on Finance |

Message | Mr. Speaker, As this is up for vote we will vote yes, however, we will be bringing up the Sexual Education Article again, as we believe it is incredibly important to keep misinformation out of the minds of young adults. Delia Fairchild SLP Rep for Culture and Education |
