Bill: Adulthood is for adults
Details
Submitted by[?]: Hobrazian Peoples Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2165
Description[?]:
We, the HPP, think that in the age of 16 there are certain things you are not capable or should not be capable of doing on your own. Since our society is rather liberal, we would like to protect the youth of Hobrazia for a further year allowing them to taste some of the adulthood, before being thrown out in it. This could call for changes in the schools to educate the youngsters in how to manage households, working institutions (such as unions etc.), pension systems etc. We should establish some kind of expanded social science to prepare our youngsters for the real world in the latter of their childhood. |
