Bill: Sexual Freedoms Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 3728

Description[?]:

Proposing to liberalise current state laws concerning the sexual freedoms of sexual and gender minorities.

Article 1: proposes making same sex relations legal. This is morally, and practicably sensible. The status quo is unenforceable, and ethically wrong. Same sex couples should be legalised, not demonized.

Article 2: is designed to ensure that every kid gets the information they need about the changes going on in their bodies. The current situation where kids can 'opt out' of such important education isn't sensible. Kids can be rendered ignorant of their bodies, their sexual impulses due to external pressure to 'opt out'. Pressures in the form of religious bodies, or parental interference.
