IC:

The Majatran War between Zardugal and Vanuku and their respective allies is causing mass bloodshed and disruption. It would be appropriate, we feel, for the Presidium to discuss how Lodamun should respond to this situation. We propose our nation should adopt a policy of strict neutrality, making it a criminal offence to use Lodamun as a base from which to send money, arms, equipment, volunteers or fighters into the conflict. We also urge the Foreign Minister to do what he can, in co-operation with other Foreign Ministers, to bring the conflict to an end.

MessageMr. Speaker,

we have tried for years to remain neutral and impartial. We would like to keep things this way.
We can not decide what a political party does in this matter. If a fraction wants to send a part of its paramilitary organisation, they can. But Lodamese State Troops would not be used in such an operation.

As Foreign Minister we believe Lodamun should remain completely neutral in this regard. We will not pick up a single Lodamese dollar towards this conflict. It has nothing to do with Lodamun. These people that are apparently fighting are most welcome to leave. But as the LNC said think itvwas they do not fight in Lodamuns name. No troops. No support . Nuetrality. Private Citizens going off. We dont care. They do not fight for lodamun.

Gregory Corazona
Foreign Affairs Minister.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Foreign Minister needs to understand that when "private citizens" from Lodamun go abroad to fight in wars, they can end up entangling Lodamun in their disputes. Vanuku and much of the rest of Terra, one imagines, will not be terribly pleased that our government is allowing Lodamese citizens to raise arms against them. There could be repercussions.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We stand by our foreign minister. Lodamun's joining internationals are doing so at their own danger and choice. We as a government have no dog in this fight, as it were.

MessageMr. Speaker.

At this stage in Lodamuns time and also regarding the sanctions placed upon us. And us to now get up close and personal in someone elses conflict. The governments position is clear. If a state is unhappy with the minimal amount of citizens going over to supposedly fight. They may approach us with their concerns and we will act accordingly. No state involved in this war has approached us with such concerns and our position is clear as day and will remain that way.
