MessageOpposed, this would harm the internationally competitive nature of our firms. Their is no evidence of firms making excessive profits, corporate pay being too high or general abuse of the system. Indeed when one looks at our gini coefficient we see we have very good levels of income equality. There is no need to change the current system, it works and ensures we have a strong economy with high income equality and low unemployment.

MessageWe tax and we tax.We cut and we cut.Trying to find a way to reduce our deficit. We support subsidy after subsidy, for these corporations, but yet our economy still dwindles.Why?.Our economy dwindles because we put too much burden on those who really run this economy. The middle class.Without our middle class, their wouldn't be a rich and their wouldn't be corporations to begin with.We must help them, and we must spread the burden.Supporting this bill will not only cut our deficit in half, but we also give us funds to help the people of Aloria. In the past I have myself supported and proposed cuts,in order to remove wasteful spending, and each of those times I was right.I ask for you all to support this increase.

MessageThere is no need to worry about our international competitiveness. The Alorian Party have itself proposed a bill a few years ago, that will match any tariffs or quotas that is put against the Republic of quota. There Alorian Front has also proposed and passed a bill that would of gave the government investing power and ownership in national progress which was bringing in revenue and keep us afloat our deficit, but some how that was undone. We must go back to this, and we cannot go far-right conservative on the economy. The way we had it worked,we must go back.

MessageI don't support any government subsidies. The way to reduce the burden on the middle class is to reduce income tax, which we have done, reduce sales tax, which we have done. And end corporate subsidies which the RCP are trying to make happen.

Again, we have a fabulous income equality low unemployment and this picture of a dwindling unequal economy is not one backed up by economic stats.

There are still areas where we are spending billions of ALO, those ministries that provide the corporate subsidies Trade and Industry and Science and Technology for example. These represent 20,000,000,000 ALO of our national budget. This is where the subsidies are. Cut the subsidies to corporations by cutting these budgets instead of raising taxes.

MessageThis won't help our economy, it will generate unemployment and discourage production. As many countries have no corporate taxes, Aloria will not be able to compete with them.

MessageLook at it this way. You are proposing we tax corporations only to give it them back. What is first off the point in that and second it's inefficient. Collecting tax has an administration cost, giving out subsidies has a administration cost. By having neither we save money in the economy by taking out the costs. Yet the position is the same, instead of subsidies firms have no tax and instead of being taxed firms have no subsidies.

The economy will be better off with less of a administrative cost burden.

MessageNo proof?.The proof is in our economic statistics. We are currently 8 billion dollars in the shit hole,we was originally 18 billions a few months, and only because we slashed and slashed away at our programs. We will keep slashing away until we our departments have no more funds. Then What?.The Gini is a projector of economic prosperity, and whether or not the middle class is lagging behind the rich. The Alorian Front Party has already passed a bill to ensure that they don't,and in doing so Aloria now has a policy that ensures that everyone is paid well above the poverty line. You also forget that our subsidies come from our government offices.Which means when we cut funding from our offices,we are also cutting funding from our subsidies, which is putting us in debt and on top of that hurting the ones who rely on these subsidies. For one side side we have our taxes are too high and the other they have no taxes. We must make this equal.Only in Unity will our nation strive and keep on growing. Trust in the Alorian Front Party. We have not been economically wrong before.

MessageNo shit, what did you expect to happen when taxes were cut? A pot of gold to appear? So tax revenue has gone down and the people have more of their own money to spend on themselves. If they have more money that's good for the economy and consumer spending.

You are not making any sense at the moment. Supposedly I am forgetting subsidies come from the government. WTF? Did you even read what I said above, Cut subsidies by cutting government spending. How would anybody who was saying that forget where government subsidies come from? Obviously Government subsidies don't come from the government....oh wait.

Firms that rely on subsidies are inefficient and of no use to the economy. It's best to let them die so new better run and equipped firms can take their place. Subsidising failure is crap economic policy, it's a complete waste of money. That is what's holding the economy back, inefficient firms that are keeping the market locked down due to government subsidies stifling innovation.

Business invests in new jobs and equipment, increase taxes and investment and capital spending goes down. Meaning less jobs, less equipment ordered from other firms and in the long term less tax revenue and more spent on welfare. Raising taxes would do the opposite to what you want it to do.

MessageI am not raising taxes.Instead I am creating a path back to a economic surplus.Raising taxes on the people is not helping the people. Its taking away their hard earned dollars. What is the use of raising taxes if we are just consistenetly cutting finding from our programs. Then that means we are wasting funds. We are wasting tax-payer dollars.Cut taxes from the people and hold the corporations responsible.Corporation taxes will help pay off their subsidies and allow us to fix our spending.

MessageWhy are you even trying to claim you are not raising taxes?

As I keep saying, how about cutting the corporate subsidies instead of raising taxes on corporations to pay for it. This bill is just idiotic, tax the people who get subsidies so we can pay for the subsidies given to the people we have just raised taxes on to pay for the subsidies.

Just cut the subsidies and save the administration costs. It's cheaper.

MessageOf course they can, there are thousands of examples in history of individuals and companies in this nation and others succeeding by themselves without government subsidies. The only thing the state does is hold them back by providing subsidies to bloated inefficient corporations. They distort the market and decrease competition. That's not good for the economy and not good for consumers.

OOC: If you want to look at a RL country and the hardship and unfairness of corporate subsidies and the money it takes away from helping ordinary people look at America.

MessageBULLSHIT.Utter bullshit. That is what is coming from RCP mouth. The belief that anyone, can rise to power, greatness and success without help from someone else is utter bullshit. This myth that anyone can become successful without the help of others is a myth, and this myth is debunked even in this very chamber.None of us would be here,if it wasn't for the supporters of Aloria that vote for us every three years.A child does not walk or even learn our native language without the help of it's parents. We do not simply get a job like this, without a college degree or some type of certification. No company has ever become successful on it own.It has taken government help.Either by lowering taxes or subsidies. It takes help. The RCP even contradicts his own argument about help. They say that they want to cut subsidies, and lower taxes to ensure that Alorian companies are striving.Isn't that help?.Wouldn't that cut and ensure the international success of our companies?.Yes it would,it is help.Do not come in this chamber and spit bullshit, about anyone becoming successful on their own.Cause it has never happened.

The reason why subsidies are implemented is because Aloria is a global nation. It interacts, sell and trade within the international community, which is a good thing. It encourages competition, partnership and work. The offset of us being a global nation is that our farmers, and manufacturers also have to compete at home, against other international farms and corporations that play with their prices,to make them more competitive.Usually these international farms and companies will make their prices lower than our domestic rates which kills businesses and jobs.In order to combat that we implement tariff, quotas and subsidies to keep our farms and companies competitive, domestically and internationally. The cost of maintaining a farm is extremely expensive, and since it is part of the agriculture sector, it is a vital part in our economy.Which means that the government gives subsidies to offset this cost and make the farms more sustainable and affordable for our farmers, this also work for our middle class owned businesses and our executive corporations.Operations are expensive and requires government help. Not a lot but a little. Now if we were to remove our help what will see?.More Failing farms, companies and even banks. The government is there to help. Not to act nonexistant. This is not why were are elected. We are elected to do what ever we can to make life easier for our people. These bullshit policies and ideologies, that believes in letting the market runs it course is bull shit. That's like walking through a jungle, empty handed and saying let nature runs it course.Which will usually result in death,

Do not be fooled by these idiotic ideologies, and the right thing.Good legislation and good policy, hold morals and ethics to it.Put people,in front of businesses.

Message(ooc:It is not subsidies that is hurting economy,I can tell you that.In fact subsidies has also shown success and prosperity in America. The GI:Bill was a subsidy.Did it hurt the economy,or spark growth?.The American economy, which is in better shape than it was a decade, is still struggling because of the major social and economic disparities that exist within the a nation.A nation divided upon itself will never see progress.Until America can fix it social disparities, which is holding it back.

MessageSorry AFC but nations are not in trouble due to their social disparities, the biggest problem is the excessive interventionism like we are seeing in Aloria. South America is a good example, the most social disparities is reduced but the interventionism keep going the continet still in trouble
Subsidies is the worst kind of interventionism, business do not need the compete to be sucessful because they know government will always be there to help them
