OOC: Check out http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=417505 and http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1605&p=76842#p76842 IC: Mr. Speaker, Gregory Corazona's incompetent handling of the extradition request for Paul Murphy-Spaak has now resulted in Vanuku terminating its diplomatic relations with our nation. The Foreign Minister should never have stood up in the Presidium and called for an illegal military operation in Vanuku. Lodamun's standing in Terra has been damaged as a result of this incident. We therefore demand that Gregory Corazona should resign. Anton Rietveld Chairman of the Conservative Monarchist Alliance |

Message | Mr. Speaker. I have the utter most faith in Greogory. Not because he is my Husband but because I am aware of his capabilities. This sudden reactionary response from this country is what route they have chosen clearly they wish to make things difficult for Lodamun. As well as the utter most disrespect for our minister of Foreign Affairs which CMA seems to support. We support our Foreign Minister and Government. The president will have the final decision regarding what to do next with that country. Phillipa Corazona LRP Leader and National Spokesperson |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Has Philllipa Corazona considered the possibility that it was her husband who engaged in the "sudden reactionary response" when he decided to stand up in the Presidium and suggest a military intervention against Vanuku? Message | Mr. Speaker. The Foreign Affairs Minister was doing his job when he gave the presidium all possible options regarding such an incident. When a Lodamese citizen of Paul standing is incarcerated under suspicion. As far as we know paul did not break any laws. The CMA s unpatriotic defence of this counties reaction and ignorance of our foreign minister is what suprises us most. This nation ignored our minister and looked for something to hold paul. The CMA call for motion of no confidence is uncalled for. Unfortunately in international relations sometimes one doesnt always know the motives of the other country. Message | Mr. Speaker, Has the Foreign Minister considered the possibility that it might have been more appropriate to discuss an undercover military operation in Vanuku with his advisers and his Cabinet rather than on the floor of the Presidium, where his words would be reported to the whole of Terra? Or did this thought not occur to him? Gregory Corazona is not only an incompetent Foreign Minister; he is also a security risk. Anton Rietveld Chairman of the Conservative Monarchist Alliance |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The Minister didn't make a decision. He made a suggestion which asked the entire Presidium, not just the government, for their opinions on a suggestion he had. Vanuku is silly to sever ties with Lodamun, namely ties which didn't exist. -- Nicholas Yenven, GNRG Spokesman on Foreign Affairs |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We stand by Mr. Corazona's decisions as he was acting on behalf of the Presidium. There is no reason to sell a fellow Lodamese out because some other country takes issue with their actions. The SLP support Gregory Corazona and his backing party to the fullest. ~ Godfrey Grant SLP Representative for Foreign Affairs |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We have heard news of Zardugal's plans to declare Lodamun a state sponsor of terrorism and impose further sanctions on us. Yet further evidence, if any was needed, that as well as failing the people of Lodamun at home, this government has seriously messed up its international relations. Message | Mr. Speaker, The Foreign Minister's opposition to the Overseas Travel Act very clearly played a role in provoking Zardugal's response. Sergio Arechavaleta Foreign Affairs spokesman OOC: See http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=417386 |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We believe the CMA is acting in foreign interests and pushing foreign interests. They seem to care more about foreign governments than our people, and seem to want to base their policies on what foreign governments want. When they realise that they are not popular, they seem to appeal to the foreign governments for help because they know that they will not get it from our own people or from democracy. -- Nicholas Yenven, GNRG Spokesman on Foreign Affairs |
