| we would to amend http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=402404, in order to also allow non-military security personnel to receive the Military Medal. The new resolution would read: In order to honour and thank security personnel for shown bravery and loyalty, we propose to set a new military medal. The medal would be quite exclusive, and can only be earned during war or in times of serious crisis. The medal can be awarded to a person as well as a group of people. The order of the medal shall be known as: Son, respectively Daughter, of Lodamun. Candidates for the medal are presented and recommended by a hierarchical superior. Candidates will be screened by High Command, which desides whether or not the medal will be awarded. |

| Message | Mr. Speaker, What kind of security personnel is the LNC talking about? Police forces? Medical teams? Fire squads? What about a brave civil girl or boy that saves a life during combat? And why should it be a military medal and not a 'humanitarian' medal, as that is what security does... protecting and securing lives of human beings. |
