Bill: Nationalist Restoration - 3733
Details
Submitted by[?]: Great National Republican Guard
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3734
Description[?]:
We had harsh laws, and the international community remained silent. We liberalised Lodamun just a little, and the international community took advantage of our weak image to destabilise us. Even after passing new laws about human rights and respecting Hosians, sanctions and embargoes still remain in effect against us. These sanctions and embargoes didn't exist before the liberalisation of Lodamun under the Argall administration. The international community claimed that the sanctions were in response to harsh laws. We have repealed the harsh laws and the sanctions remain in place. The international community has lied. The issue was never Hosians or human rights. The issue was always the beauty of our Great Democratic Republic. The international bourgeoisie wanted to destroy this out of envy and fear, so they funded subversive elements within our nation under the guise of "human rights" and "liberty" but really only cared about the well-being of a bourgeois minority who wanted to establish a Hosian monarchy. Our Great Democratic Republic has almost been destroyed, because we wanted to please the international community by changing Lodamun into a crappy country that it was simply too great to be. The people want a return to stability and progress. -- Upon passage of this bill: - "Lodamese Nationalism" will remain as the official state religion - Citizenship is granted to citizens based on religion; only members of "Lodamese Nationalism" will be granted citizenship - Only members of "Lodamese Nationalism" will be allowed to serve in our military |

Message | Mr. Speaker, This bill takes away the freedom of choice and natural thinking. I myself am a proud adherent of Lodamese Nationalism, but it is not up to us to decide the religious choice of our citizens. We can and should not impose ourselves on to others. |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
