Bill: Diplomatic Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Saiken Renmei

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3736

Description[?]:

Removing Sekowo from unneeded treaties.

Dovani Territorial Defence Organization - we no longer have armed forces, so we cannot participate in a military alliance with the other Dovani nations. We should also note that the treaty has become inefficient; it did not unite the Dovani nations in the war against Zardugal, it did not prevent war between Dankuk and Indrala, and it did not stop Sekowo from her latest act of aggression.

Missile Defense Shield - same as above, we no longer have any military capabilities.

Peace Treaty of Port Tackstov, February 3355.- the Southern Hemisphere War ended long ago, and the provisions regarding colonies no longer concern us.

Sekowo-Talmoria Treaty of Friendship - Talmoria is no longer a party to this treaty.

Treaty of Miyako - we no longer own the colonies we gained via this treaty.

Treaty of Nachten - same as above.

Random quote: "I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers." - Martin Luther King Jr.
