MessageMr Speaker,

We feel underrepresented in this cabinet proposal, we can not explain to our voters why the largest party has only 2, insignificant, ministerial posts.
However, we do like the idea of a unity cabinet and we will give our 2 demands in order to support such a cabinet;

1/ The Head of Government shall go to the LNC
2/ We get Internal Affairs OR Justice above our already 2 existing ministerial posts that are been proposed here.

We do feel that the GNRG should be granted 1 extra post, and we think that we could do this by granting them the Chairmanship of the Presidium. Our party is working on such a bill.

MessageMembers of the Presidium,

The GNRG doesn't support the ridiculous bill that EL is referring to: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=418709
There is no need to give the Speaker that much unnecessary power and responsibility.

The President chairs the Presidium. The Speaker only exists so that we may refer to him as an intermediate body instead of making statements directly to each other. If we make statements directly to each other, debates may become heated and sometimes a dialogue focused on 2 individuals can dominate a debate. If we address the speaker, all comments are open to rebuttal from all MPs.

MessageMr. Speaker.

The enlightened ones need to enlighten themselves that they are not the "largest" party by and far margin. They only surpass the GNRG by 2 or 3 seats. As well as the rest of the parties by 10 or so seats. If they were in the 100s or 200s we would say majority of Lodamun agrees with their policies. But they do not. We ask the Enlightened Lodamun to work together with the rest of this presidium who also incorporate large parties.

I guess we can all agree that we need a working Cabinet soon.

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.
