Message | Mr. Speaker, This is an election for the Presidium, not for the administration. Again, EL has confused the 2 as being a single thing. 1/3 of the Presidium's seats are vacant. This is about the Presidium, not the cabinet. Even if it was about the cabinet, the last cabinet was passed with 237 seats. The MPs who supported that cabinet together had less than 40% support in the last legislative election. The running of this counry isn't about EL. No administration has some protected period of governance. The running of this country is about the people. It seems that EL fears an election because they fear what a democratic outcome would look like. EL seems to fear that they are unpopular. -- Gordon Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, Opposition Leader |

Message | See, Mr. Speaker? The administration has nothing to fear. The parties in the administration now have a majority in the Presidium without seats in the Presidium being vacant. The Percy administration has even more legitimacy now. -- Gordon Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, Opposition Leader |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
