Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3743

Description[?]:

Herr Präsident,

as we are committed to an ordoliberal approach to the market economy, we firmly believe that the state and its authorities must prevent restrictions to competition when they arise on the marketplace, however, we do not deem it necessary to impose a general ban on monopolies since, especially in market niches, monopolies are sometimes the result of broad consumer satisfaction with a certain company. Thus, we propose to adjust our current policy to exclude non-vital sectors from the ban on monopolies.

Dietpold Gellsinger, MdR (Hulstria)
Wirtschaftsminister

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that.
