Bill: Bill for Citizen's Restriction to Weapons

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Libermuns Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3745

Description[?]:

This is our response to the "Arms Restrictions Act - 3744". In the wake of the recent assassination, the SLP have been thinking hard about how to best to impede violence. We wish to stop any copy-cat actions.

It is about time that we change our laws on the ownership of weapons. The police force is not normally allowed to carry lethal force, and this create an odd situation in Lodamun. We wish to restrict access to weapons for the majority of our citizens.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We support this motion on the grounds that citizens should not have more firepower than officers on patrol.

We would hope the SLP has read through the LSS investigation finding. These were indeed armed military personal. Our nation will have to make some tough decisions. Our relations with Vanuku have become hostile.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We did have our people read through the LSS investigation findings. The SLP will be taking a hard stance against Vanuku and it's apparent actions, but that is a separate issue. This was a case of armed military personnel. The next might not be.

What is it that the SLP is saying exactly. That Vanuku funding is less important. I say it is as if they committed the act face to face.
