Bill: Bill for Citizen's Restriction to Weapons
Details
Submitted by[?]: Social Libermuns Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3745
Description[?]:
This is our response to the "Arms Restrictions Act - 3744". In the wake of the recent assassination, the SLP have been thinking hard about how to best to impede violence. We wish to stop any copy-cat actions. It is about time that we change our laws on the ownership of weapons. The police force is not normally allowed to carry lethal force, and this create an odd situation in Lodamun. We wish to restrict access to weapons for the majority of our citizens. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Weapons allowed to private citizens.
Old value:: Citizens may own any type of weapons, but certain types are restricted to designated places.
Current: Citizens may own any type of weapon. They may be carried anywhere except as determined by the property owner.
Proposed: Only certain types of weapons may be owned by the general public, and there are further restrictions on places where they may be carried.

Message | Mr. Speaker, We did have our people read through the LSS investigation findings. The SLP will be taking a hard stance against Vanuku and it's apparent actions, but that is a separate issue. This was a case of armed military personnel. The next might not be. ~ Rowan Argall SLP Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker. What is it that the SLP is saying exactly. That Vanuku funding is less important. I say it is as if they committed the act face to face. Matteo Powers Minister of Internal Affairs LSS Director |
