Bill: Ökologisches Budget, 3745
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberale Volkspartei
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3746
Description[?]:
Gicho-sama, as we have announced, this government intends to pay more attention to environmental protection both in order to preserve our natural environment, both out of concern for the immaterial value of nature on the one hand and private property on the other hand, both of which are damaged by industrial pollution. Thus, we propose two concrete measures as a first step: 1.) Increase the Ecology budget by 5% and the Agriculture budget by 3% to fund reward payments for farmers and landowners who prove to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism that they treat their lands, forests and waters in a sustainable way; 2.) incentivize the private sector to invest more funds into nuclear power as the most capable technology regarding the reduction of pollution. Hidetoshi Matsumura, MdR (Mitrania) Finanzminister |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
