Message | We, of the CDP completely disagree with this resolution, because we believe that our State must be completely Laic, where no religion has any interference or influence above the government. In many times in History we saw that the mix between Religion and The State does not work too well. Thus, this proposal should be abandoned completely. John Berryfield, Current CDP Spokesman |

Message | "Firstly, there is no overwhelming dominance of the Kazo religion in our nation anymore. Secondly, even if Kanzo were the dominant religion, there would be no good reason to give it any special recognition over all other religion, precisely BECAUSE of the importance of religion in maintaining a prosperous and moral society. The importance of religious values is a general phenomenon, and all religions should be treated equally." Tomé Soares, Minister of Justice |
Date | 16:07:21, October 23, 2014 CET | From | Uniao Socialista | To | Debating the National Religion Act |
Message | We wouldn't favor the current bill as we believe that every individual should be able to worship or not to worship a deity but the state should not at all interfere with this. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
