Bill: Francis M. Jones III resignation
Details
Submitted by[?]: Grand Nationalist Fraction
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3748
Description[?]:
In the light of http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=57&start=470, where the President of the Republic declares not to be a Nationalist, we, the Lodamese Nationalistic Committee, which still believes in Nationalism as the only righteous religion within our borders, demand the immediate resignation of the President. We hope the rest of the parties will agree with us. LNC is even willing to accept a minority Cabinet with the current governing parties excluding the President's party. Message | Mr. Speaker, I quote: "Bennett: Now, you've always been very private concerning your religious views, and aside from that fact that you were raised as a nationalist, no one really knows what your views are now. Are you a Hosian? Jones: No, but I'm not a nationalist either. I keep these views private because I believe religion has no place in politics. We're no better than the HLF if we allow religion to dominate the way we treat people and the way we govern the country." A President that declares openly that our religion is no better than Hosianism or their terrorist fraction isn't worthy to lead this nation. We cannot accept this humiliation. The President should be embarrassed and should resign himself. Marijke Clerck Specialist on Culture for LNC |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Nationalists who seek to use violence and discrimination are no better than the HLF. Francis M. Jones III President GDR Lodamun |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Francis M. Jones III is in compliance with the law, and as much as it is a scandal to not have a Nationalist President, we will support him for he has been working very hard for the common good of Lodamun. ~ Rowan Argall FISH Head |

Message | Mr. Speaker Our intelligence analysts say that the Jones government is estimated withstand until the next election where very possible change may take place. Trends indicate this change wont be towards nationalism however. We see this as a power play by the LNC. However unfortunately this is a futile attempt. Message | Mr. Speaker, President Jones is a very hard-working and very decent man. Whilst we do not agree with him on every issue, we believe he should remain in post. We certainly do not accept he should resign simply because he does not believe in the ideology of Lodamese Nationalism. That said, I must say I am disturbed to hear that the Minister of Internal Affairs is using his Ministry to conduct political surveys. Shouldn't the Ministry of Internal Affairs be focussed on dealing with the threat of terrorism and crime, rather than engaging in political activities on the behalf of the Justice and Development Party? Message | Mr. Speaker, The Fri finds it hilarious that after a failed attempt at ousting the president, the LNC believes it is within their power to force his resignation through a vote. We will not be voting in this bill, there is a democratic process for ousting a president and it has failed. This vote is entirely meaningless and we stand firmly behind the president. the LNC may continue to show that they're incapable of productivity in this Presidium. Nikolai White Minister of Defence |
