Message | We are skeptical of the benefits of arms exports, and alerted about the power it will give our government to influence international affairs through indirect forceful means, so without argumentation and a framework for regulation concerning exports, we don\'t support article 3. We are also somewhat unsure about article 1 - we believe it is best if there is no profit motive included in the defense industry, which could potentially lead to the development of a military-industrial complex, but at the same time we recognize the right of citizens to collectively run any enterprise they want. We believe more debate is required here. We support article 2, only if it is clearly defined that the military may only be used in cases of natural disasters. Overall, however, we are against this reform in its current form. |

Message | We support this reform after dropping article 3, although hope there will be debate in the future regarding article 1. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
