LANGUAGE The nation of Baltusia herby affirms that it national culture is loosely based upon Latin America/Mexico with significant French (Quebec Based) and English minorities. The majority of character names should be in Spanish, while English and French names are acceptable as minorities. Spanish, English & French are all nationally recognized languages. Native names are also accepted as a minority as well. (Name Randomizer: http://www.behindthename.com/random/) Spanish, English, French & Native names should be mixed together. Since Baltusia has many language groups, English, French & Spanish are all acceptable languages to use during debating and naming and describing bills. If you choose not to use English, english translations are encouraged. (Google Translate: http://translate.google.com/m/translate) English, French & Spanish party names are permitted. Languages, Spanish 50% French 22% English 21% Other 7% Though only 22% speak english as their first language roughly 96% of all Baltusians can speak english. Since Baltusia has a number of immigrants from other nations other languages are also accepted but as a very small minority. ---------------------------------- CULTURE Cultural origins and influences: RP elements and agreements inspired by this bill (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=239463) Native Batusians 'Amerindian' peoples live mostly in Terrarokka. The native tribes there have their own set of cultures which is based around millennia's of old traditions, mainly inspired by Amazon tribes as well as Inca, Maya, Native American/Canadian & Maori. Most of these tribes have been fully interpreted in Baltusian society but have kept their beliefs. Native Baltusian names are Native American/Canadian and Maori names. Demographics, Baltusian (Spanish) 45% Canrillaise (French) 16% Native American/Maori 10% Luthorian (English) 8% Valruzian (Polish) 6% Lodamese (English) 6% Tukarese (Chinese/Japanese) 4% Gaduri (Spanish/English/Chinese) 2% Other 3% *Please note, these numbers will not stagnate, should not fluctuate wildly.
