Bill: Treaty Withdrawals

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Monarchist Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3754

Description[?]:

Neither of these Treaties serve any practical purpose that benefits Lodamun. After all this time, they have become rather embarrassing. The most they achieve is to harm our relations with the outside world, so it is high time we withdrew from them.

MessageMr. Speaker,

This has been proposed before. Even the moderate and reformist MPs opposed it.

This is a part of the CMA's agenda to destroy our Great Democratic Republic and install a Hosian monarchy.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The President has failed to outline a single coherent recent to retain these Treaties. They are, quite simply, outdated and utterly ridiculous.

MessageMr. Speaker,

What are our current ties to Solentia and Gaduridos? I haven't heard anything at all about them since the last time these were put to vote.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Our relationships with Solentia and Gaduridos would be better if we were rid of these silly Treaties.

MessageMr. Speaker,

A party from Solentia had encouraged the embargo on Solentia, and a party from Gaduridos had endorsed our non-recognition of the despotic Adamsonite regime. We do not see why the Gaduri government would have a problem with our opposition to the Adamsonite regime and the possibility of it re-emerging in the future.
