Upon completion of one's time in prison, the restoration of one's voting rights is a necessity in order to full facilitate a full readmission into society. Chairman Antonelli addressed this issue claiming, "The right to vote is sacred, and all those who have successfully completed a term in jail ought to see an immediate reestablishment of their rights." Currently, the law is vague on its, "certain period of time" clause, allowing for the Minister of Justice to fluctuate the term at his/her leisure. Making thousands of Alorians subject to the ideologies of the current administration. |
