Message | Mr. Speaker, I wish to speak for my party and my party alone, but I'm sure some politicians from other fractions will support me on this. Paramilitaries have shown a great deal of importance and support to our nation. The laws have changed over the years resulting in a heavy regulated paramilitary organisation. The Red Barets are mostly unarmed. They only carry arms on special occasions, with consent of the party and the Government. The Red Barets can still be implemented in times of crisis. The Red Barets are very loyal to Lodamun, no act of agression will ever be done by them. It is the Red Barets that make sure the Government does not have to provide security personnel on LNC rallies. I only see advantages of paramilitary groups. Anders Murphy LNC spokesman |

Message | Mr. Speaker, This is one of the few things that the CMA have proposed that the SLP have no objections to. Yes, paramilitaries have served us well over the years. However, it's high time we grew up and retained a full, united military force. ~ Arwen O'Barra SLP Spokesman on Defense |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Can't we maintain a full united force without the abolition of paramilitaries? -- Gordon Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, President of Lodamun |
