Bill: Proposal Limit Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Grand Nationalist Fraction

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 3768

Description[?]:

From the last 54 bills being voted upon, 41 was handed in by EPLLCP. This means that one party has handed in three quarters of all proposals, while the other 5 parties together nearly have 24%.
To avoid us drowning in proposals, we suggest to limit the amount of proposals given to a party.

We SUPPORT. The E- abuse of the system for the most useless unmeangful bills must be noted. 99 precent of their bills dont even get through to law. This part is disfunctional with no allies. They should re-organize themselves and their policies which we find even more disfunctional and often laughable. The leader seems to mostly be on some sort of halucination drug ALL the time.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We remind the legislature that JDP did not propose a single proposal, in this year. Meanwhile, the EPLLCP is active and tried to change thing, even if other do not want to do anything, we are not backing away

We also remind that the JDP vote to expulse the EPLLCP from the nation, for the simple reason that we are the most democratic party and allow more then 10 people to present bill on a individual basis.

we have no lesson of democracy to receive from them, the EPLLCP is organised by its own charter and has its own constitution.

This party has no right to compare our two parties. A debate on comparing is not logical. When the party should be defending its view on this bill. We sit back and laugh. The JDP is a very democratic party yet the E- name doesnt even represent democracy. This is the drugs im talking about Mr. Speaker.

Unlike much others party leader, I don't tell my party members what to say, they can figure it out themselves.

You're trying to gain visibility when you already have the most seats? Seriously, proposing 50+ bills at once is a little annoying. Sometimes the reasons in the bill are absurd, and seem to address imaginary problems that wouldn't apply to Lodamun or Lodamun's set up. It's like every bill you propose, you focus only on the specific law addressed by that bill and take the debate all over the place while completely ignoring the other related laws that still exist in Lodamun.

MessageOOC : I have the most seat for a simple reason, I was the only one to present law and on many of them, I was the only to vote in favour of the law, or at least, that is what I believe, But I do not estimate to have gain all visibility I can, especially on military issus on international issues., even on environment..

in a technical way, my party is anarchic, every bill are proposed by new mps, and my party is only emotionnal, there is no logic in the EPLLCP, only emotions, or at least, nearly no logic. that is the kind of party I rĂ´le play

- Pro-life
- Pro-sex
- Communist
- Liberal
- Environmentalist
for prostitution, agaisnt abortion,

so, yeah, there is no logic in my party.

I'm not talking about WHY you have the most seats. I'm saying that you have enough visibility, so this isn't intended to stifle new parties.

Most of your last comment is completely irrelevant to anything that has been said so far by anyone else.

Support. The current Presidium is overwhelmed.
We have to focus to quality and not quantity.

MessageMr. Speaker,

there would be a maximum of 12 proposals a year which suits us well. That number should be more than sufficient.

MessageMr. Speaker.

you are proposing a maximum of 6 proposal per year and there already a number of 12 proposal per years,

you are limiting the parties to 12 proposal maximum, meaning if they don't use any in two year, any they receive are lost.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I don't disagree that there have been a lot of bills. And, a lot of debate! I have been very busy and this does not help matters.

But, I find that I do tend to propose things all at once when I get rolling, and I'd rather have the ability to accumulate 24 proposals and put up with what in any other situation I would call spam. To the party in question, please take note that the Presidium is finding your enthusiasm overwhelming. I almost voted yes out of pity.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Would the SLP be in favour of a change to the proposal allowance given to each party each year, without changing the maximum from 24? This means that a party can accumulate 24 over time, but it would take longer to get back to 24 if a party uses all of its proposal allowance at once.
