| Message | Mr. Speaker, So far, Tania Landau hasn't convinced me that this needs to be private. The government already pays players in public clubs. This - along with "The creation of other private sport" - does not seem to be about non-profit organisations. Private interests are obviously present here. If it is not about profit, what is the need for privatisation? Why doesn't the bill speak of players creating their own clubs? Why does the bill speak of the EPLLCP creating its own league? Individual players are better off coming to public clubs where they have equal chances to display their talent, and equal access to resources.
