Message | Mr Speaker, This Budget Reform is disgusting. You wish to destroy the economy be making it extremely unattractive to work more and accept wage raises. You wish to spend more money on the Military and to give wealthy corporations tax cuts while taxing the poorest citizens in Baltusia even more. Does this government have no social conscience? If so, every other party in government should oppose this inhumane and catastrophic reform. Tomas Bolivar Party Leader Radical, MNC OOC: Please us MNC instead of MP - our legislature is called the "Congreso Nacional" (English: National Congress) not Parliament. |

Message | Mr.Speaker, We cant tax people on their first 100 Baltusian Dollars! We dont have a problem with raising taxes on the very rich, but we cannot raise it for the people who need to keep their money the most. Suzanna Sergant Party Leader Moderate MNC, Athosia |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I would like to remind all parties that the income taxes were even higher than this proposal before the Radical Coalition took government. This budget shows fairness, this budget will attract moe businesses to come to Baltusia which will create jobs, increase competition and lower prices in the private sector. People are already living in poverty the tax on essential goods is not helping that needs to be abolished. We understand the Moderates concerns, but I assure you many other nations in Terra tax from the first dollar, 100 Baltusian Dollars means no taxes for basic incomes like paper routes, baby sitting etc. The new Income tax proposal will balance out our budget and increase are defence spending which is essential to our international presence. Message | Mr Speaker, It's amazing how mr Arello spits out lies. There is no fairness in forcing people to pay more than 50% of their income. There is no fairness in raising taxes for the poorest while eliminating the tax on corporations and throwing the poor peoples' money away on guns. And let me point out one thing: The countless tax brackets in this proposal will do nothing else than destroy the economy since there is no incitament to take on a better work, work more hours or accept a raise. It will really send us down in a negative economical spiral. Let us instead make more budget cuts in the Defence Sector as well as other sectors so that we can finance a removal of the essential goods tax. Tomas Bolivar Party Leader Radical, MNC |

Message | Mr. Speaker, what the radicals are proposing is insane, we urge fellow parties to propose their new budget reform and to accept this one, which is responsible and stable. More budget cuts to the defence sector will leave us sitting ducks to any foreign attck and it will destroy our foreign presence. We urge parties to accept this budget when it goes to vote shortly.
