Bill: Genetically Modified Crops Act of 3768

Details

Submitted by[?]: Vorona Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 3769

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

I introduce the "Genetically Modified Crops Act of 3768" to the floor of the Parliament. As the Minister of Food and Agriculture, it is my duty to outline the food and agricultural policies of Vorona and to oversee such activities. After much research, there has been no evidence that genetically modified - or GM - crops affect the body in a way inconsistent with organic crops. Considering our dense population and limited resources, it is best for our nation to allow for the research, production, and sale of GM crops.

Alice Parker MP (Con)
Minister of Food and Agriculture
