Message | Mr. Speaker, We are completely against this, this proposal will tax all people in the top 40% of Baltusia. The Radicals are simply not in their right mind proposing a reform that would completely destroy Baltusia! Do the Radicals think that if a Baltusian citizen is making 60,000 Dollars 36,000 Dollars should be taken away? I sure hope not! This tax reform will completely destroy Baltusia. Do they think that a Baltusian citizen making 50,000 Dollars 20,000 should be taken away? Or a citizen making 40,000 Dollars and 16,000 is taken away. What we see is the Radicals favouring the low Income Class which already receives massive benefits while cutting the Middle Class which currently receive absolutely no benefits from the government at all, how do the Radicals honestly think the Middle class will live nicely let alone LIVE!? Message | Mr Speaker, The Leader of the Opposition should take class or two in macroeconomics and especially in how tax brackets works. By setting a tax bracket at 60% around 60,000 BLD doesn't mean that the wage earner has to pay 60% of the 60,000 BLD in taxes when we have two other tax brackets. If we take a Baltusian who earns 60,000 BLD a month he will pay approximately 12,000 BLD in taxes a month. He therefor only pays 20% in taxes a month, which isn't that much - especially compared with other nations. But yes. I have no shame in admitting that this tax reform will benefit the poorest people in Baltusia who were send to die by poverty by the inhumane tax reform implemented by the Communists and the Conservatives. Message | Mr. Speaker, What this man does not undertsnad is that middle class people in this nation recive no benifits where as the poor recive almost everything that is essentail for free! We must be fair to the middle class! Yasmene Baboux Party Deputy Leader Conservative MNC, Athosia OOC: Since revenues come in yearly im pretty sure this is yearly tax and not monthly. |

Message | Mr Speaker, The gentleman's comment is laughable since the Conservatives themselve haven't done anything, but rob the people of Baltusia of their money while allowing companies to roam freely without paying any taxes. You are making people's lives hard while letting all corporations go on without paying a dime. That is an inhumane and rather hypocritical policy when you come with these comments. But please don't magically fix the calculations so that they fit into your lies about this government and us Radicals. Tomas Bolivar Centrist Alliance Leader Radical Party Leader Minister of Finance OOC: Yes of course. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We would like all parties to read our first comment before they make their vote, the Radicals propose taking away over half of the middles classes earinings. Yasmene Baboux Party Deputy Leader Conservative MNC, Athosia |

Message | Mr Speaker, This is outrageous. Why does the ignorant Yasmene Baboux insist of keep spreading lies? You are making a fool out of yourself and you party. We are not taking away the half of the middleclass' income. I almost feel like laughing at your ignorance. Tomas Bolivar Centrist Alliance Leader Radical Party Leader Minister of Finance |

Message | Mr Speaker, We believe that every tax reform has its downsides, so does the Conservatives' policy Madam Baboux. This proposal has the merit of redistributing the wealth back to the people who truly deserve it, the poorest. If a tax reform would benefit someone, we would always prefer the poor people. That is why, we will surely stand behind on our ally on this one and we urge every party is Baltusia to vote for this reform instead of the Conservatives' evil one. Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
