| Message | The Totalitarian Party supports only article one. Article two: We feel this policy may be too extreme. Perhaps if you defined which crimes the new law would apply to, we may be willing to support. However, we would much prefer the law apply only to serious crimes, such as murder, terrorism and treason. Article three: While this party dislikes foreigners, especially the sneaky little bastards who enter the nation illegally, we feel this policy may be too intrusive and too expensive to maintain. Instead, we should ensure our nation's citizens know the dangers of illegal immigrants. This way, if they ever suspect a neighbour of harbouring one of these foreigners, they can contact their local police station and report the neighbour. Article four: We feel this policy favours the rich. When a wealthy citizen is accused of a crime, he is able to hire the expensive lawyers to convince a jury that he is innocent. A poorer citizen must rely on whatever he can, and will likely have a higher chance of being convicted than the wealthy citizen. We would much prefer all lawyers be paid for by the state, to ensure all citizens receive equal representation in court. Article five: A doctor can cause damage to a patient without killing them. Article six: We feel the equipment police have now is adequate for their task. If more powerful weaponry is needed, our police forces have special squads that are equipped to deal with almost anything. |
