| Members of Congress, After months of provocation and international harassment on the part of Zardugal against our great nation, I officially request the Congress of Vorona to approve of war with the Federation of Zardugal. Radical fringes of this nation have unfortunately led the people of Zardugal to believe that somehow, we would like to take over their land. We Voronans know that that is not what we want. We want a world of peace and democracy. We believe in a government of the people, for the people. We have put diplomacy before warfare. Yet time and time again, the Zardic government has stepped one step closer to all out war in Terra. I have high hopes, that the coalition of nations that Vorona has been able to create, which includes Dorvik, Baltusia, Sekowo, and Indrala on more general terms, will prevail in the end. The time for unity is now. Never has Vorona faced such dire times as these, and I have been notified that Minority Leader Marvin Wells has even decided to back me in the upcoming election. It takes a great amount of humility and courage to do such a thing, and I commend him greatly for his support. I know our men and women in uniform will face the greatest test in their lifetime, but if we as a nation stand strong, united, then we as a nation shall be victorious.
