Bill: The Second Militia Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Ecumenical Constitutional Democrat Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 3781

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

We again demand that the paramilitaries be regulated by the state, if they are to exist at all, seeing as the state is determined to ignore the existing law in typical self-entitled Nationalist fashion.

The regulations shall be as follows:

1) Paramilitaries are forbidden from taking part in foreign conflicts without the consent of the Presidium.

2) Paramilitaries are forbidden from any activity other than training or parades unless a state of war exists.

3) The state reserves the right to ban any paramilitary, either by executive decree or in a resolution by the Presidium. Resistance to such a ban is classified as high treason, punishable by the full force of the law.

4) Paramilitaries are to be subject to joint inspection by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defence, who will report to a cross party committee in the Presidium.

5) Paramilitaries are subject to the same regulations as the standing military, in regards to recruitment, equipment and the treatment of PoW's and non-combatants.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We won't support these regulations. We do not believe that we should dictate what paramilitaries can do abroad. Also, if we're going to have paramilitaries, they should not include Hosians. Hosians will not be armed in Lodamun again. The AOM will become the new HLF pretty quickly.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Andre Fertig openly supports Nationalist thugs engaging in international terrorism in foreign lands, yet dares suggest we Hosians be disarmed in the face of Nationalist terror!

MessageMr. Speaker,

We would give Hosians guns if they would volunteer to kill themselves, but themselves only.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Andre Fertig is the voice of a dying order - and deluded to believe his words have power his privileged class of hubristic over-glorified political elitists once possessed. His mortal body roots with every second, dragging him closer to the hell that has claimed each and every member of his "family". He hides his fear of Hosian behind a display of exaggerated hatred and bile. Fear us, Andre, for we are your end.

MessageMr. Speaker,

If anyone had a constitution so weak and unused to emotion to die of laughter, it would be the hollow shell who is the current Vice-President.

Is the MB leader suggesting that I have no emotion?

If we did not answer your question, would you be able to work out the implications of our statement yourself, Mr Vice President Sir?

MessageMr Speaker,

We rise in support of this proposal. We second the notion espoused by the Monotheist Brotherhood that the Great National Republican Guard is apart of a dying order who is willing to do anything and everything to retain it's power that is so apparently waning.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Does the DLP understand that the MB wants to replace the current order with one centred around the values of Hosianism?
And wasn't the DLP the first party to oppose this bill? http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=424645

MessageMr. Speaker,

Perhaps citizen Powers would enlighten us to his reasoning, given the previous administrations chronic inability to prevent paramilitaries who supposedly no longer existed from fighting in foreign conflicts with no government oversight.
