MessageMr. Speaker,

It has truly been the honor of my life to serve as the Foreign Affairs Minister. It's been a very rigorous and tough few years during my time in office, and I've made very many friends. One of which, unfortunately, left this world a few years ago. His name was Josiah Long, and he was and is still a dear friend. (Eyes tear up). Mr. Spea-, Mr. Speaker. Josiah guided me while I was on the Foreign Affairs Committee, and he and I worked together on so many issues. When he was killed, I think it would be right for me to say that it was the worst thing that could ever happen to me. Nonetheless, I've moved on since then, and though it's been hard, I don't regret a single thing I've done as Foreign Minister. Mr. Speaker, I've served in this position since the year 3774, and it is now 3778, a full four years I've been doing this job. It's been great working with President Cromwell, but I come to the floor to announce my resignation as Minister of Foreign Affairs. I do so not because I disagree with the President's policies, or because I am sick of the job, I love it, but I believe that it is best if someone else take the job. I will continue to stay in government only for this term because my constituents deserve a voice, but I will be gone from this chamber before the new Congress forms in 3780. Minority Leader Garnett has stated that my replacement will be Rep. Ronald Blythe, a fellow member on the Foreign Affairs Committee who is very experienced and has gained my respect and trust. I look forward to his position as Foreign Affairs Minister if the Cabinet Proposition that President Cromwell puts forth passes. I'd like to finish by saying that, Mr. Speaker, it's been a pleasure working with you, especially when you were the Minority Leader, and I hope you have a great career ahead of you sir. Thank you, and I yield the floor. (Conservative representatives stand and applause)

MessageMr. Speaker,

I'm glad that President Cromwell has ordered the three remaining oil rigs under our control to be blown up into smithereens. I will not stand for Zardugal to simply take back what is rightfully ours at the end of this conflict. I personally hope that this news spreads far and wide within Zardugal so that they know that President Cromwell will not back down so easily. Let's hope that Indrala gets into this war quickly so that the Zardic dogs will back down from their sick, imperialistic practices.

MessageMr.Speaker,

I must disagree with the Defense Minister by destroying the oil rigs the President has not only crippled the economy even more, but he's basically told the world that he has given up. And he's also shown that he won't support or allies by condemning Dorvik who's now joined Zardugal. Mr.Speaker, we need to do something more then sabotage ourselves in order to win the war, we must use our nuclear arsenal in order to win this war, or we must assemble our allies ask of them and push back the Zard and Bausalt navy. Then we must burn their lands and bring them to a point of no return. Only then can we achieve peace in Terra,I yield the Floor.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
