MessageMr. Speaker,

We can support this bill, but we do have one question for the JDP. When is considered something as 'hate speech'? Isn't that rather a very thin line and open for interpretation?

This bill kills private media and kills government subsidies for non-profit media. We can't support it.

We certainly can't support this bill based on article three alone; as we view it as a clamp down on free speech. Also we see not need to end subsidies for public radio and TV as they provide a valuable service.
