Description[?]:

Alorian Rearmament Ten Year Plan

The CTF believes our taxes our too low across the board, especially if you compare them to other countries. Countries more developed than us, such as Kirlawa and Baltusia, have much higher tax rates, even higher than the rates proposed. A consequence is our inadequate military. As such this is the first part of our re-militarization plan. If war were declared on us our main defense would be our militia, which would be annihilated by the full time forces of other countries. For example;

Vorona had almost one million troops on their side, and they're an island nation of 40,000,000. Granted a significant amount of these troops (a little under half) were poorly trained militia men, but the other half were full time soldiers. In short, the Voronan active military is larger than our militia. That is absolutely unacceptable.

We moderated this on input from the CDS. More suggestions are welcome.

We would rather not raise taxes either but we also don't want to be overrun by Dorvik and Dundorf in 20 years.

This proposal increase the government surplus by approximately 5.818 billion Aloriks.

Part II would be a spending bill if this passes. We plan to put around half into military spending and half into welfare schemes but that's subject to change.

MessageWell yeah this could get passed and the other one could get completely demolished. The bills are really only related conceptually.

MessageI need one more party to vote yes. If RGA gets on board and the Labor Party goes inactive or votes yes we have enough votes to pass it.
545-18=527 seats

527/2=263.5 votes to pass

117+110+37=264.projected votes. Juuuuuuust scraping in.
