Bill: National Police Force 3784 (in Memoriam: Jason Owens and Dr. Goliveerraju)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Comiwnyddion Hosnogol
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3785
Description[?]:
DEREK POWELL, INTERIM INTERNAL AFFAIRS MINISTER AND MP As PM Bismarck stated, we cannot allow public figures to be shot in broad daylight like this. Our lack of a national police force has resulted in our nation's inability to keep even leading public figures safe. If we can't keep Dr. Goliveerraju and Jason Owens safe, who IS safe? Who's to prevent a domestic terrorist from exploding a bomb in Llyanmor and killing 1,000 people? We as a nation can either sit down and wait for President Mortimer or Prime Minister Bismarck to be assassinated, or we can do something about it. This bill is something of a compromise for the CTF. We'd prefer a stronger national police force, of course. But in the interest of at least SOME public safety we're putting this to the floor. |
