Message | This would make Rutania the centre of pseudo-science. ;-) These innocent animals are forced to give their lives for us, so surely it is not to much too ask for research involving animals to apply for a license and answer to certain standards? |
Date | 21:18:18, January 05, 2006 CET | From | Radical Freedom Party | To | Debating the Animal Science Act, 2166 |
Message | There are good reasons for some basic regulations to prevent animal cruelty. We will not support this change in the law. |

Message | "This would make Rutania the centre of pseudo-science. ;-)" I dont see the logic behind this statement. "These innocent animals are forced to give their lives for us, so surely it is not to much too ask for research involving animals to apply for a license and answer to certain standards?" The same happens for farm animals. Licences and bureaucracy... all it does is slow things down and pirce things up. |
Date | 14:04:44, January 06, 2006 CET | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Animal Science Act, 2166 |
Message | Simple, without certain minimum standards, anyone can do anything to animals claiming it's "scientific research". |
Date | 14:55:48, January 06, 2006 CET | From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the Animal Science Act, 2166 |
Message | How about the basic regulations option, we would support that and perhaps the RFP would too! |
Date | 15:57:43, January 06, 2006 CET | From | Liberal Imperialist Party | To | Debating the Animal Science Act, 2166 |
Message | *sigh* It's not going to get through as it is, so changed it to the basic regulations one. |
Date | 16:42:14, January 06, 2006 CET | From | Radical Freedom Party | To | Debating the Animal Science Act, 2166 |
Message | The RFP can tentatively agree to this proposal. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
Random quote: "When I see a 9/11 victim family on television, or whatever, I'm just like, "Oh shut up" I'm so sick of them because they're always complaining." - Glenn Beck |
