Details

Submitted by[?]: Geraja Janata Parishad

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3786

Description[?]:

The GJP after consultation with business leaders propose a number of economic reforms. In order to appeal to business interests we seek to open up the industries of advertising, banking and international high finance. As a temporary measure to encourage growth in these new sectors we shall lift controls on monopolies in a number of industries. In return for this greater degree of economic freedom private companies shall no longer receive any public funds should they face bankruptcy.

Meanwhile labour issues shall be devolved to local government in order to get regions competing with one another for business.

Signed,
Shadow Finance Secretary,
Padma Patel

&

Shadow Trade & Industry Secretary,
Sri Sri Shudraswamy Dukacitta

Random fact: Moderation reserves the discretion to declare RP laws invalid if the players supporting them are doing so in an excessively confrontational way.
