Status[?]: defeated

Voting deadline: November 3790
Description[?]:
"It's good to be back. A long, long time ago the man who gave me my name reigned as President of the Republic and Chairman of the Social Democrats. He fathered many, but only the direct male line got his name. Over the millennia we have endured Houses competing for power in a constitutional monarchy, one-party rule and an endless parade of competing factions, some conservative, others liberal. In this current one party political climate, it is time for a new party to represent the people of Telamon, a party that fights for democratic values and libertarian socialism once more." Message | While the NRP does support the devolution of most social/economic authority down to more grass-roots political entities, do you not believe that, to a certain extent, the criminal code ought to be universal. This is in reference to your Article 2 - we believe that govt.'s position on the legality of adultery (as wrong-headed and restrictive of liberty as we find it to be) should be universal for all citizens. On the other 2 points we are in total agreement. Communities should decide for themselves how folks go about adopting or cross dressing. Editing Article 2 would bring us to complete agreement and even without that, the NRP looks favorable upon this legislation. |
